LAUREN BOLTAS
Owner & Director
Hi, I’m Lauren Boltas, the founder of The Midwest Playhouse.
When I moved to St. Louis in 2021, I quickly realized how difficult it was to find quality childcare—especially after having my twins. At one point, I needed care for three children under 16 months old, and it felt nearly impossible.
In March 2022, I opened a small in-home daycare from my own home and called it The Midwest Playhouse. That’s where it all began.
Childcare has always been a part of my life. Throughout my teens and twenties, I worked as a babysitter, part-time nanny, full-time nanny, newborn night nanny—you name it! Caring for children has always been more than a job for me—it’s been a calling.
In May 2024, I felt led to expand the vision and rebrand The Midwest Playhouse as a Christian home daycare, built on the foundation of faith and values. Our program now weaves the core teachings of Christianity into everyday learning—helping children discover what it means to follow Jesus Christ through love, kindness, and gentleness.
As a mom of four children under the age of five, I understand the importance of building a strong foundation early. It’s an honor to partner with families who want their little ones to grow in both knowledge and character.

SARAH YORK
Curriculum & Creative Support
Mrs. Sarah has been a valued part of The Midwest Playhouse team for two years, spending that time caring for our little ones, supporting our classrooms, and bringing so much creativity into our program.
Now, she is stepping into an expanded leadership role as our Curriculum & Creative Support Lead, where she helps bring our learning experiences to life across The Midwest Playhouse. Sarah supports our teachers with engaging curriculum and meaningful lesson planning, creates fun process art and sensory experiences, helps plan classroom activities, creative projects, and special events, and works alongside our team to ensure activities are purposeful, age-appropriate, and connected to the heart of our program.
One of Sarah’s greatest strengths is her creativity. She loves finding new ways to make learning exciting and memorable for our little ones while supporting our teachers behind the scenes.
Sarah has a heart for creating a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment where every child feels loved, encouraged, and excited to learn. We are so thankful to have Mrs. Sarah continuing to grow with TMP and can’t wait for our families to see all the fun and creativity she brings to this role!

COURTNEY REGENSTEIN
Team Leader
Miss Courtney serves as Team Leader at The Midwest Playhouse, where she plays an important role in supporting our teachers, strengthening our classrooms, and helping ensure each of our programs reflects the heart and standards of TMP.
In her leadership role, Miss Courtney works closely with our Owner & Director, Site Leaders, and teaching teams to provide guidance, encouragement, and hands-on support. She helps mentor teachers, assist with training, promote strong communication and teamwork, and ensure expectations for classroom quality, professionalism, and daily routines are carried out consistently.
Known for her gentle spirit, dependability, and encouraging approach, Miss Courtney believes great leadership starts with leading by example. She enjoys helping teachers build confidence in their roles, celebrating their strengths, and stepping in to support classrooms whenever needed.
Miss Courtney is passionate about creating a team culture where teachers feel supported, valued, and encouraged to grow, while always keeping the children and families we serve at the heart of every decision.
She is excited to continue growing as a leader at The Midwest Playhouse and helping our team provide the safe, nurturing, Christ-centered care our families know and love.
