Miss Madelyn

Lead Teacher – Babies and Blessings Classroom

Miss Madelyn is the Lead Teacher in our Babies & Blessings classroom, where she provides a loving, Christ-centered environment for our youngest learners. She is passionate about helping infants and toddlers feel safe, secure, and celebrated as they begin exploring the world around them. Through nurturing care, play-based learning, and meaningful interactions, she supports each child's growth while building strong relationships with both children and their families.

Miss Madelyn enjoys planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, early development, and confidence. She believes every child is uniquely created by God and strives to create a classroom where kindness, patience, and love are woven into each day. One of her favorite traditions is encouraging simple acts of kindness that help even our youngest children begin learning how to care for and encourage one another.

Outside of the classroom, Miss Madelyn enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running, caring for her puppies, and growing in her faith. She feels incredibly blessed to be part of The Midwest Playhouse family and is honored to walk alongside parents during such an important stage of their child's development.

Miss Ava

Lead Teacher – Faith and Friends Classroom

Miss Ava is the Lead Teacher in our Faith & Friends Classroom, where she is passionate about creating a loving, Christ-centered environment for young children to learn, grow, and thrive. She believes every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and encouraged as they discover the world around them through play, exploration, and meaningful relationships. Ava enjoys helping children build confidence while supporting their social, emotional, and early learning development. 

With six years of experience working with young children, Miss Ava loves watching each child grow and celebrating the progress they make every day. She finds great joy in building lasting relationships with both the children in her care and their families, believing that strong partnerships create the best foundation for lifelong learning. 

Outside of the classroom, Miss Ava enjoys spending time with her family and friends, visiting the lake, taking walks, and exploring new places. She loves being outdoors and has traveled to nearly 30 states. One of her favorite memories is learning to snow ski for the first time in Colorado. She is grateful to be part of The Midwest Playhouse family and looks forward to partnering with parents during such an important season of their child's life.

Mrs. Laura

Lead Teacher – Prayers and Playtime Classroom

Miss Laura is the Lead Teacher in our Prayers & Playtime classroom, where she provides loving, individualized care for our infants and toddlers each day. She is passionate about creating a peaceful, Christ-centered environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged as they learn and grow. Her profile highlights her love for caring for children, her church involvement, and her desire to help little ones feel safe, loved, and encouraged. 

With several years of hands-on experience working with children, Miss Laura enjoys planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, early learning, and meaningful connections. She believes the earliest years are filled with incredible opportunities to build trust, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning through nurturing relationships and purposeful play.

As the Lead Teacher at Prayers & Playtime, Miss Laura is committed to partnering with families to support each child's developmental milestones while creating a classroom rooted in kindness, patience, and God's love. She takes joy in celebrating every accomplishment—big or small—and feels honored to be part of each family's early childhood journey.

Outside of the classroom, Miss Laura enjoys spending quiet mornings reading her Bible with a cup of coffee, singing at church, reading, and watching peaceful sunrises. Her faith is an important part of who she is, and she strives to reflect Christ's love in the way she cares for every child entrusted to her.

 

Her favorite Bible verse is Ecclesiastes 3:1: "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."

Miss Courtney

Lead Teacher-  Little Seeds Class (Twos)

Miss Courtney is the Lead Teacher for our Little Seeds classroom at The Midwest Playhouse Learning Center, where she creates a joyful, Christ-centered environment for our energetic two-year-olds. With several years of experience in early childhood education, she is passionate about helping children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning during this exciting stage of development.

In the Little Seeds classroom, Miss Courtney plans engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity, language development, social skills, and exploration through play. She believes every child is uniquely created by God and strives to create a classroom where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to take on new challenges each day.

Known for her gentle spirit and encouraging approach, Miss Courtney loves watching children discover new skills, form friendships, and celebrate milestones both big and small. She values strong partnerships with families and believes open communication and consistency help every child thrive.

Outside of the classroom, Miss Courtney enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, hiking, swimming, coloring, watching a good movie, and making memories with the people she loves. She feels incredibly blessed to be part of each child's early learning journey and is excited to help the children in Little Seeds grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Ms. Destiny

Lead Teacher- Growing Sprouts Class (Threes)

 

 

Mrs. Morgan is the Lead Teacher for our Growing Sprouts classroom at The Midwest Playhouse Learning Center. With more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education, she brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and passion to her classroom every day. She also holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is certified in CPR/First Aid, Safe Sleep, and Missouri MOPD Training.

Originally from Hutchinson, Kansas, Mrs. Morgan has called the St. Louis area home for nearly two decades. She and her husband have three wonderful children and a Goldendoodle named Sully. She loves spending time with her family, exploring new places, and making memories outdoors. 

As the Lead Teacher in Growing Sprouts, Mrs. Morgan creates a warm, Christ-centered classroom where children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, and develop confidence through hands-on learning. She enjoys planning engaging activities that spark curiosity, foster creativity, and help children build the academic, social, and emotional skills they'll carry with them for years to come. One of her favorite classroom activities is craft time, where children can express themselves while strengthening their fine motor skills and imagination. 

What Mrs. Morgan loves most about teaching is watching young children grow in confidence and independence as they learn new skills, form friendships, and discover their unique personalities. She values building strong relationships with families and believes every child deserves to feel loved, encouraged, and celebrated each day. 

Outside of the classroom, Mrs. Morgan enjoys family game nights, cheering on her children at hockey games, curling up with a good book and a vanilla latte, and hunting for unique treasures while thrifting.

 

Her favorite Bible verse, 1 Peter 5:7, reminds her to place every worry in God's hands: "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."
